1. Thermal resistance
Everyone knows that the existence of thermal conductive silicone pad is to be able to dissipate heat to the product. This is also the real reason and the purpose of its existence, so we must consider the issue of thermal resistance. It may be that the heat will be small when the product is thin. Then on the main heat sink, in order to be able to ride the silicone to the largest three, the role we have to think of is the thinnest one of the padding on these bonded interfaces. We can reduce the thermal resistance to ensure that Normal operation of the product. Therefore, the function of reducing thermal resistance is to ask us to make the thermal conductive silicone sheet as thin as possible. Therefore, in this regard, I personally think that it is necessary to choose a thinner silicone sheet to reduce thermal resistance.
2.Anti-shock effect
Everyone chooses thermal pad, not only for heat dissipation, but also for insulation and shock resistance. Then the second issue we need to consider is shock resistance, because it has a certain compressibility and is very resistant to drop. The filling between them is very important, because only after filling in this way, the heat of the PCB of the PCB can be better introduced if the silicone chip is played, and it can be widely used on some products, so it is said to choose this thickness It's necessary to choose a thicker one, it will be strengthened anyway in the end, but you should pay attention here, it is not to let everyone use the last one, because we also need to consider the issue of thermal resistance, so the thickness should be determined You need to cut it yourself. If you think that the thermal resistance is relatively high, you can choose a thinner one, but if you prefer the anti-shock effect, you can choose a thicker one.
The above is a general introduction to the thickness of the thermal conductive silicone sheet. If the thermal resistance is low, the shock resistance is good, but everyone must understand that the thinner the better, and the thicker the better. The thickness of the film still depends on our own needs. If we focus more on anti-shock, we choose thicker. If we focus more on heat dissipation, we need to choose thinner. Look at ourselves at this point.
